Description Alfa Romeo 147 GTA
The Alfa Romeo 147 GTA is the sporty version of the three-door 147 model. This top model, with the traditional GTA designation, stands for Gran Turismo Alleggerita, meaning "lightweight top model." Thanks to the wider wheel arches, different bumpers, sportier wheels, and a modified chassis, there is a clear distinction from the regular models. The heart of the 147 GTA is, of course, the 3.2-liter Busso V6 engine. The sound of this engine and its accompanying performance make the heart of every car enthusiast race. As is customary in Italy, it’s not entirely certain how many units were produced, but it is believed that around 5,000 units were made, of which 2,200 had a manual transmission.
The offered 147 is one of the 17 units that were delivered new in Sweden. This car has had three owners, all of whom have maintained it well. All maintenance records are documented. The last owner has equipped the car with new timing belts, an expensive and labor-intensive repair. The low mileage corresponds with the excellent condition of the car.
The Alfa Romeo 147 GTA remains an iconic hot hatch, beloved for its powerful engine and sporty character. The car is equipped with air conditioning, headlamp washers, seat heating, cruise control, black leather upholstery, and a light blue metallic color (Azzurro Gabbiano). Recently, the car underwent a full service, including timing belt, tires, and more.
